Gender differences often remain a discriminating factor in accessing these services. Financial education plays a crucial role in transforming the attitude of women towards the management of their finances.
For women from emerging countries, migration is a survival decision made by the entire family, which continues to operate as a transnational unit and a source of collective well-being through the remittances regularly sent from Italy by migrant workers to their families still living in the countries of origins.
To achieve positive migratory outcomes, the promotion of a constructive decision-making process through financial education acquires a central value for the lives of migrant women in Italy.
